Great location with parking near by.
When I arrived and said to the female receptionist that I was checking in, she looked at me like I had two heads, as if she wasn't expecting anyone. I could see the computer screen and pointed to our reservation. She was very unwelcoming. I had to ask for a map of the city. I then asked for WiFi infoation and she gave me incorrect instructions. I was able to figure it by trial and error. Otherwise, a decent hotel.
Very good location for sightseeing. Parking very close. I remember reading complaints about the breakfast. While it was nothing special, it was not as bad as some might have said, esp. considering that it is included in the price. Spain is not exactly known for the quality of its pastries, so we didn't feel we missed on much by not going to breakfast outside. (However, we do not recommend a nearby restaurant Aquarium, which is NOT related at all to the hotel)
It was close to the attractions in the area
The rooms were clean but terrible. We felt like we were in a monestary or perhaps a hostel. Nothing but a bare bed, a desk and small tv. Wallpaper peeling, lamp lights so low you could hardly read. The hotel info on Booked.net led us to believe we had a apt/suite with 2 bedrooms that would accomodate 4 people. When we got to the hotel there was one large room with a double bed and two singles. We had to get rooms changed to two double rooms and still the rooms were austere but at that point we had no chooice. Breakfast was 8 euros and consisted of bread, cereal, yogurt. It was totally unacceptable for 2 adult couples. Prior to going to Toledo we were in Sevilla and had 2 double rooms at the Catalonia- Giraldo which were magnificent with great service and cost less.
We booked a room with double bed and got 2 single beds. For a young couple on vacation, this seemed a bit weird and more importantly, our booking was made specifically for one bed, not two. That was our only complaint. Thanks
Being situated in Toledo, it was easy to get around all the areas of interest, such as the Cathedral, Shops and places for food and drink. Its a beautiful City and well worth the visit and most areas can be accessed without having to use transport.
The only thing we missed was tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Which is a must for us when you wake up in the morning.
Very convenient/modern hotel in the city center. Great facilities and the view of the Alcazar was spectacular. Highly recommended!
Location good, however that had it´s drawbacks
I was vary disappointed with this hotel. The location was good, although because of the road outside it was very noisy. Noise was a problem throughout the hotel. Other guests could be heard from your room and because we were in a room in the older part of the hotel outside noise was also a problem. Sewage smells was also a problem - due to the lack of u bend (typical Spanish problem). Breakfast was not great either, both for choice and tight fit of tables. I would not stay in this hotel again.
THE GOOD: Huge rooms, great facilities, everything looked like new, we had a room with a balcony. The reception is really nice and comfortable. It all looks great. Very centrally located. Helpful, kind staff Hair dyer in the bathroom
THE BAD: No internet in the rooms. Had to go to reception. There was a group of teenagers - schoolchildren - staying and went out at night, woke the whole hotel up at 12 and then 4am. The next morning everyone was talking about that at breakfast. The receptionist had warned us on arrival and we had to call twice after being quite patient. The shower has a screen/partition but the water comes out anyway, so the whole bathroom was wet. Breakfast: No healthy options. Poor.
We had 2 rooms. The double room was excellent but the single room was very small. The price differential did not reflect this. There was only a few euros difference which just reflected that 2 people in one room had breakfast whilst only one in the single. The location is excellent and the hotel provides excellent value for money overall.
Location was great. Rooms were clean.
Wifi did not work on the 4th floor so we had to sit in the lobby to use it. Which in the end was fun for we met people.
Breck fest was bad
taille des chambres, propreté, parking proche
they told us the parking was for free, but it was just a discount... most of all : the breakfast is the baddest we had in two weeks, only machines and chemical products ! they have an italian coffee machine but nobody to use it and for this kind of 'class' it's absolutely not acceptable
Simple stylish rooms, view from the window, near by Alcazar.
Very simple breakfast
central location parking close by
room was barely bigger than the bed. had to climb up from bottom of bed. no table or chair
The location was good. The hotel was very clean
The breakfast was very basic and poor. No bar or bar service so no socialising with anybody else in the hotel
